You have to be military or a retiree to shop here; if you're buying brand name items, the prices are good. Not a lot of store brands to choose from, though, so if it's something you'd buy a generic of (aspirin or whatever), it can be cheaper to go to Target or a grocery.
Great produce selection. It's amazingly fresh and a great variety, for any grocery store not just because it's a commissary. Well worth shopping here first.

I really like the Kirtland commissary. I do wish their produce was better but the meat section is the best. And the butchers are always there ready to do special cuts. Nice deli.
The commissary always has great prices and selection! The Kirtland one has good prices and selection on their meat, Boar's Head deli, but their produce is sometimes not the best
The meat prices are MUCH better than regular grocery stores. However, the produce is about the same price as off-base, and the quality is sometimes low.
