I absolutely love this place and it's probably my favorite Korean restaurant in town. The food is good and definitely loaded with veggies and they give you tea and some side dishes like kimchi and bean sprouts free, the staff is so nice, and they sell a wide variety of foods and items. The big thing I like about this place is the staff. I started learning Korean a while back and so I've been going to different places to get some practice and just meet other people and the people that work here are so nice and welcoming and open. I've been to other places where the staff wasn't as nice. I am definitely going to come back here again and again and I highly recommend it.
The restaurant shares a building with the same company's modest supermarket, and so from the street an uninitiated passerby might not realize there's more than a Korean food market inside. Once inside you'll be greeted by a friendly staff, and are free to choose your own table.
Hands down the best Korean food in Albuquerque. The menu is small, but the quality is amazing. Thus far, I've eaten the Bibimbap, Scallion pancake, Dduk Mandu Guk, and Kimchi Jigae and all have been delicious.
I love this sweet cute little Korean market. Very authentic food items. I always get my Kimchi here. I love the different Kimchies they offer: radish, cabbage, octopus, zucchini, and baby radishes. They also have a little cafe in the store. I love the stone hot pot meals. The best! Also always take sushi rolls to go a wonderful yummy snack. I live about three hours away, but I make sure to make 3 trips throughout the year. Especially for the wonderful Korean
The staff are extremely friendly and attentive; they will ensure your banchan (side dishes) are kept replenished as well. Prices are extremely reasonable.
Having lived in (South) Korea, we know a thing or two about authentic Korean cuisine. We're also very fond of some of the country's staples, and so we were very excited to try this place out.
The staff is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to ensure your food is perfect, and their complimentary barley tea is excellent when it's hot out. Plus their grocery store is well-stocked and they'll help you find the right ingredients to make anything you're interested in trying at home.
매우 맛있습니다
We've enjoyed the Dolsot BiBimBap, the Bulgogi, and various side dishes customary for Korean cuisine. It is all delicious and authentic.
AS AUTHENTIC AND FRIENDLY AS IT GETS
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
If you're in a pinch then yes, if not Talin is the way to go. This review is for the market not the restaurant because their food is great. I expected the prices to be higher because it's a local business but this place is extreme . For samgyeoupsal, 4lbs of pork belly is $24: at talin its $7. Their glass noodle sauce is $4 the exact same brand at Talin is $1.5. Their gochugaru paste is $5 same brand at talin is $3. Their mirin $7 at Talin $3. The difference is so crazy you will literally pay $50 more than you would if you would have just driven a little bit further toTalin. So yeah in a pinch definitely, but be prepared to pay out the nose.
Market. The ladies that work the store give wonderful customer service. Love this place.
