If I could give no star I would! Second day of my daughter being in kindergarten and me being a first time mom the teachers and staff are very very rude and I feel like they think they can talk AT a young mother like myself and they are not very understanding AT ALL! not a good impression on the second day! My daughters teacher is also very very rude! I have a feeling I'm gonna end up changing her schools
I went to school here in the early 1980s. While I cannot speak for the quality of education Dennis Chavez offers today, in the 80s it was a great school. Today I have a Ph.D. - early childhood education sets the foundation for future learning and Dennis Chavez set an excellent foundation.
If I could give no stars I would. The staff is not friendly and there has been a large amount of staff changes of the last few years. Asst. Principal is a joke. He thinks he knows kids, but he doesn't. things at this school cost A LOT!! more than they do at other schools. I found most every parent to be a rich snob that had their head too far up their iPhone to pay any attention to their kids.
