The service was so bad we wondered together on the way home if we had done something. It seemed like it was a personal affront. Got home and checked out the reviews, and it looks like it is business as usual at this restaurant.
When the manager arrived, he began to address my wife instead of me. He seemed to know there was a problem because he told us he was concerned. He was forwarned either by the waitress, or more likely experience that we had not received good service.
Food definitely wasn't worth the high prices.
We were seated promptly and given menus. After that it was all down hill.
Edit, a year later. We went back this evening and it was a great meal. It is amazing how much a difference wait staff can have on things.
After a longer than usual wait, our waiter showed up. We ordered drinks and he took off. another long wait. Returns with our ice tea and glass of water and takes our order. This went pretty well. We ordered an appetizer, and it was good because that took a long time to get there. Our meal took a very long time to arrive. Then the shift change. Our waiter was leaving and he assured us we would be taken care of by someone else. This was not the case.
There were more waitstaff then customers.
We went out for an pleasant evening before the work week started. Going to BJ's was a mistake.
The food and experience wasn't horrible, but wasn't exactly something to write home about.
Ate there last night. My cousin had hair EMBEDDED in her burger. My mom got the wrong type of burger and drink. Server was GREAT, KIND, and honestly deserves a raise. Management never came to great ANY guests. More specifically never came to apologize. The managers instead yelled at our server who was doing a great job.
We won't be back.
At one point I tried to make eye contact with one of the other servers and was given an eye roll and a "tsk". I guess she thought I was trying to flirt with her in front of my wife. I wanted to ask her to send our waitress over.
We paid and left,and and when we were halfway across the parking lot, the server ran out yelling at us about her tip.
Also, they have a rewards program but have never been told by any staff of the program. Saw the sign up/card at front desk by chance.
If she had discussed this with us in the restaurant it would've been fine, but running across the lot to yell at us about it? Very uncalled for
We didn't leave a tip as the service wasn't all that great,and because we had spent way over our limit, as someone else was treating us.
The waiter knew the menu well and helped us with our questions. He was also very patient but made sure our glasses were never empty.
We waited a very long time for our bill. Long enough that my wife suggested we just leave. Finally the waitress showed up all smiles. I asked for a manager.
The waitress had been taking care of two tables in our row. And they received decent service. One of the couples came in after us, were served and received their food before us and then left before we even got our check. This waitress made an effort to avoid eye contact with us, left our glasses empty and was rarely visible after her other customers left.
I got his attention, and told him of our experience. He did do the right thing and did not charge us for the meal along with giving us coupons for deserts.
had my first visit yesterday and was a good experience was clean and had a good vibe not to loud the restrooms were a little messy but other than that nothing to complain about
We went way over our budget(our own fault ) and got blatantly ignored by the waitress
Awful service. Took forever to be seated and get waited on. They also forgot about our appetizer. The waiter told us that the manager would be out to explain...40 mins later....and not an explanation... Just we won't charge you for what you never got! But that was it! The wait times are ridiculous and they will not do same day reservations and no call ahead for parties over 6.
