If you happen to be in Albuquerque, this is a very nice place to eat. The proprietor is very friendly and the counter help is personable and attentive. The restaurant is sparkling clean. Now let's get to the food.. All of the items on the menu are worth trying. None of them are just passing the time, so to speak. Whether you're a vegetarian or a carnivore in a fever pitch for a big meal, this is a great place. Very good sides as well. In short, they do a lot more than a lot of other Albuquerque restaurants and frankly speaking, they do a lot more than they have to and it's very reasonably priced. I recommend it for people who live here or for people just passing through.
I will never come here again. Stopped by to get a burger to go, took it with me and when I opened the box and picked up the burger the bun was soaked in blood from the Patty being undercooked. I'm not talking a little pink, I'm mean soaked and dripping blood. I cut open the Patty and it was pretty much raw. I tried to microwave it for a minute, and it still wasn't cooked. I put it back in the container and took it back about 1.5 hours later when I could. The woman at the counter was extremely rude and didn't even say sorry for the raw burger. She stated it had been too.long since I bought it to bring it back. I didn't want anything in return really, more to bring it to their attention as someone could get really sick from eating raw meat. She was horrible to deal with and made no attempt to remedy the situation. Of course I should of called to let them know, but I was too busy. Never going to this place again. Zero respect for customers
Pretty cool spot. Not typically what you see in ABQ. Got different beers on tap, order in line and it's brought to you at your table. Sandwiches salads burgers all good. Has a AZ vibe to it.
Great experience great food great people and service. I recommend it all the time to people can't go wrong just try it for yourself.
We were on a tour bus with 54 people and stopped here for lunch today. We were greeted and served by the owner. I had the turkey special on sourdough bread and it was wonderful. Thank you for such a friendly and tasty experience. Until next time through Albuquerque!
