Unique LA style with cafeteria trays to pick up Asian/French sweet and savory pastries, as well as made-to-order boba teas, smoothies, unusual teas, coffees, sandwiches and Vietnamese entrees. A bit on the pricey side which was ameliorated by the previous happy hour discount which has sadly gone away (please, please bring it back!) though they still have a rewards program you can sign up for with your email/cell, and offer holiday and pastry specials.
We heard some great things about SweeTea Bakery so we decided to swing by after the balloon fest. We were immediately greeted as we entered. The two energetic employees told us all about the fresh buns that had just come out, so we bought one of each kind. We asked for their recommendation on their 12" sandwiches too. Try their pork sandwich with double meat and burgesse sandwich with double meat, and you won't be disappointed. Super friendly service and great fresh food. Definitely recommend!
Great service, he explained the menu and the most popular choices to me. He also came out while I was eating to suggest how the sauce is traditionally used - it made an already excellent dish better. Somewhat pricey, but you get a lot of food and the service makes it. Highly recommended.
