Kirtland federal credit union has been by far the worst credit union I've ever had to deal with. They have appealing words to lure military people in such as: wingman/rank etc. but they in no way helped me being in the military. They denied me an auto loan that would have been completely ideal for me, but then later approved an extremely high interest auto loan that they would benefit the most from. I received a call from KFCU to my work number because I did not pay .23 cents on my last payment. They did not bother trying to reach me directly. They went straight to the work number. I made on time payments for my vehicle for 3 years, but had to valuntarily repo my vehicle to KFCU due to PCSing overseas. They did not work with me at all. I couldn't restructure my loan to reduce payment amount. I was met with a lot of attitude on heir part and now it's at collections. They undersold my vehicle by at least 3Grand, and stuck me with the bill. I no longer have his asset so I ask to settle the charge. I tried to settle for 50% but they are insisting that I need to pay 52%. They offer no help in case of military movements. I would never recommend this credit union to anyone. Navy federal credit union is by far a better credit union who actually acts like a wingman.
